Annual Symposium 2021 – Nurturing the next generation

The 2021 ILSI Europe online Annual Symposium (IEAS) was a premiere gathering of experts from around the world that met to shed light on the current and future challenges on nutrition, food safety and sustainability. It was a key opportunity for stakeholders to contribute to give answer to these questions, discussing and debating on the themes in the spotlight. Thanks to the multiple parallel session, this year’s program triggers the interest of multisector scientific minds.

4th SUSFANS Stakeholder Core Group Workshop
Event
The workshop focused on placing the consumer at the heart of the EU food system, specifically regarding innovations in the fruits and vegetables sectors (Day 1). This was followed by a programme towards foresight and impact with the SUSFANS Stakeholder Core Group (Day 2).
3rd SUSFANS Stakeholder Core Group Workshop

This 3rd SCG Workshop aims to introduce the latest scientific developments of the SUSFANS project and to receive feedback from the SCG in terms of their feasibility and implementability.
2nd Workshop on Nutrition for the Ageing Brain
Event
This workshop was specifically focused on mechanisms of ageing and neuroprotection via nutrients as well as implementation of the available data. Supported by the Nutrition and Mental Performance Task Force.
