The ‘Foodborne Viruses: Detection, Risk Assessment, and Control Options in Food Processing’ webinar on 12 November 2019, 16.00-17.00 CET, 09.00-10.00 CDT was jointly organised by ILSI Europe’s Microbiological Food Safety Task Force and IAFP’s Viral and Parasitic Foodborne Disease Professional Development Group. The webinar gave an overview of the current science on epidemiology, public health burden and risk assessment for viruses in food processing environments.
