Ruchi joined ILSI Europe in February 2024. She manages the EU project CATALYSE and will be taking over task forces focusing on Risk Analysis for Food Safety and Vitamin K2.

She holds a B.Sc (Honors) in Foods & Nutrition, where she majored in Public Health, Clinical Nutrition and Food Science. Building upon this foundation, she pursued European Master of Science in Food Science, Technology with Business at KU Leuven, Belgium.

She has 4 years of prior experience in the food industry where she has excelled in bridging the critical gap between R&D, Quality and Customer Support. She has experience in leading various teams and projects that fall under Ingredient Application (microbial spoilage validation), Bioprocessing projects (fermentations & extractions), Internal and External Quality Control, Customer Technical Support and University based collaborations for research.

During her leisure time, she enjoys swimming, cooking and socializing with various people to know about their cultures and experiences.
