PROGRAMME
The programme is available here.
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES
EuroDISH is a 3-year project funded under the EU 7th Framework Programme that aims at integrating existing food and health research infrastructures, as well as developing new ones in order to provide comparable EU-wide nutritional data and innovative multi-disciplinary research.
This workshop provided an excellent opportunity for stakeholders to reflect on, provide input and validate the conceptual design of the European Research Infrastructure in the Food and Health Domain. This RI will be the founder for innovative food research and effective public health nutrition strategies in the European context. It will be presented on 15th May 2015, during the ‘Food, Nutrition, Health and Wellbeing’ week in the EXPO pavilion of the European Commission. The EXPO is themed ‘Feed the Planet, Energy for Life’, and around 20 million visitors are expected over a 6-month period.
