The ILSI Europe Continuous Education Course (CEC) was the most attended course of Eurotox 2019

ILSI Europe participated in the 55th Congress of the European Societies of Toxicology (Eurotox 2019) which took place in Helsinki (Finland) from 8th-11th September 2019. Organised by the Finnish Society of Toxicology, the programme included topics dealing with new and emerging technologies, personalized medicine, and epidemiology of exposure to chemicals.

ILSI Europe was one of the silver sponsors of this Congress that aims at addressing the topical chemical safety challenges of the next decade. The ILSI Europe Continuous Education Course (CEC) was the most attended course of the congress with around 80 participants. Moreover, both ILSI Europe sessions gathered more than 200 attendants.

Four ILSI Europe Task Forces (TFs) jointly organised two sessions and one Continuing Education Course (CEC). These TFs are:

Alternatives to Animal testing in Food Safety, Nutrition and Efficacy Studies (AAT)
New Approaches to Chemical Risk Assessment for Food and Food Ingredients (CRA)
Packaging Materials (PM)
Threshold of Toxicological Concern (TTC)
