Ruchi Shah is a Scientific Project Manager at ILSI Europe, where she supports the development and coordination of multi-stakeholder scientific initiatives across Europe.

With a strong academic foundation in Food Science, Technology, and Business, Ruchi brings a multidisciplinary perspective shaped by both scientific and strategic experience. Before joining ILSI Europe, she held leadership roles in research and development within the food and biotechnology industry, where she worked on product innovation, fermentation technologies, regulatory affairs, and international scientific partnerships.

At ILSI Europe, Ruchi contributes to the management of EU-funded projects and expert groups, helping facilitate constructive engagement among diverse stakeholders. She is particularly passionate about fostering scientific exchange, encouraging collaborative problem-solving, and supporting initiatives that translate science into practical impact.

She leads multi-dimensional task forces and expert groups on Food Safety and Nutrition along with coordinating and work package leader roles on EU funded projects and proposals.

Known for her collaborative mindset and strong communication skills, Ruchi enjoys working in multicultural environments and values the importance of connecting people, ideas, and expertise.
