Ines is the Communications Officer leading the Communication & Dissemination Work Package (WP6) in the European Project E-OilÉ. She develops outreach strategies to make scientific findings accessible and engaging to wider audiences.

With a background in Biology and a Master’s in Ecology and Environmental Management, Ines has focused her career on science communication, bridging the gap between science and society. She previously worked as Manager of Communications and Activities at the Portuguese Society for Ecology (SPECO), coordinated science outreach initiatives in an environmental NGO, and interned at the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre. She also participated in the EIT Climate KIC Journey and Pioneers into Practice programmes.

In her free time, Ines enjoys playing board games, team sports, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her loved ones.
