This ILSI Europe session was organised by the Process-related Compounds and Natural Toxins Task Force (PRC) in collaboration with the WMF meets IUPAC organising committee.
ILSI Europe’s Sessions and Continuing Education Course (CEC) were jointly organised by four Food Safety Task Forces: Alternatives to Animal Testing in Food Safety Task Force, Nutrition and Efficacy Studies Task Force, New Approaches to Chemical Risk Assessment for Foods and Food Ingredients Task Force, Packaging Materials Task Force and Threshold of Toxicological Concern Task Force.
As the Threshold of Toxicological Concern (TTC) concept is gaining more attention in terms of risk assessment application, there is a need for the alignment and harmonisation on how the concept is used. ILSI Focal Point China, in collaboration with Chinese Society of Toxicology (CSOT), China National Centre for Food Safety and Risk Assessment and the Threshold of Toxicological Concern (TTC) Task Force of ILSI Europe organised this two day workshop to promote innovative research on toxicological transformation in the fields of food, chemical and environment in Asia.
