FUSE (Furan Understanding and Safety Evaluation) Stakeholder Information Session

This info session will present the objectives, scope, and strategic vision of the FUSE project proposal to key stakeholders across food ecosystem. FUSE is a proposal for a new COST Action. We will provide an overview of the scientific rationale behind the initiative, its multidisciplinary approach, and the anticipated impact on food safety across Europe and beyond. Additionally, we would like to hear participant's feedback to make sure FUSE will address key challenges and provide needed support.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

• Learn more about the rationale and need for the FUSE network

• Understand how FUSE aims to foster collaboration between academia, risk assessors, industry, and public institutions.

• Explore opportunities for involvement, including collaboration, knowledge sharing, and potential participation in working groups or activities.

• Provide feedback and input on the priorities, and stakeholder engagement strategies.

This session is an important step in building a strong, collaborative foundation for the proposal and ensuring it reflects the needs and expertise of the broader food safety community.
