The Nutrition and Mental Performance Task Force organised a session at Experimental Biology 2013 under the American Society for Nutrition in Boston, USA. This 2-hour event, “Brain Imaging and Human Nutrition: Which Measures to Use in Intervention Studies?” scheduled for Tuesday, 23rd April covered the variety of available brain imaging modalities and their current and future applications for understanding the effects of foods and food components on the brain.
