A Community built on tripartite collaboration

Collaboration is at the heart of ILSI Europe. By bringing together experts from industry, academia, and the public sector, we ensure that our research delivers balanced, transparent, and actionable results with broad consensus across sectors.

We believe researchers from industry and the public and private sectors can and should work together on science and health issues of common interest. Public-private collaboration – where all interests, conflicts and biases are declared and all funding is acknowledged – can improve the science used to promote the health and safety of the public and the environment.

Today, the ILSI Europe community brings together hundreds of experts: leading scientists from major food and food-related companies, internationally recognized professors in nutrition and food science, and representatives of public institutions such as national food safety authorities, research councils, or the European Commission.
