As we enter 2025, we're thrilled to present our annual portfolio, highlighting key initiatives and engagement opportunities that will drive our mission of science-based guidance in the food sector.
Building on last year’s enthusiastic response to our proposals, four new Task Forces developped their activity roadmap and are now ready to kick-off expert groups. They focus on healthy ageing, food processing, food safety risk analysis, and food allergen analytics. Each of these Task Forces is still seeking additional members to contribute to this important work.
Our existing twelve Task Forces have aligned their efforts with ILSI Europe’s mission to tackle urgent issues and promote collaborative solutions. In 2025, they will be carrying on or launching 27 timely research activities.
Additionally, we are partnering with ILSI Global on cutting-edge projects, including studies on postbiotics and the application of AI in systematic literature reviews.
We are also excited to announce the addition of two innovative EU-funded projects to our portfolio, bringing our total to six. These EU projects create six additionnal networks for collaboration, six opportunities to contribute to pressing research, six catalysts for cross-sector partnerships.
Several key events will shape 2025, offering platforms to share the excellent work of our expert groups, spotlight initiatives, and spark new collaborations. We look forward to your participation in our 8th International Symposium on Food Packaging (April 2025) and our 5th Symposium on Nutrition for the Ageing Brain (June 2025).
This year, we will be doubling down on member engagement, with new initiatives designed to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing across our community. 2025 promises to be a year of growth and innovation.
We invite you to join our Task Forces, attend our events, and seize these opportunities to make a greater impact.
