Dr Douwina Bosscher has been appointed the new Vice-Chair of ILSI Europe by the Board of Directors (BOD). Douwina thus becomes the first woman to hold this position at the Board of Directors in the history of ILSI Europe. We are committed to bridge the gender gap, we contribute every day to advance in gender equality and equity at all levels of our organisation.
Dr Bosscher is R&D Director Europe in the Cargill Global Edible Oils Solutions Business Group. She holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and is renowned lecturer of Nutrition and Food Sciences at the University of Antwerp (Belgium).
Besides her scientific and leadership experience, Dr Bosscher brings highly valuable skills to keep ILSI Europe’s Transformation alive. Hand in hand with her, we boost our equality and equity trend and advance in our objective of building a modern organisation.
