Expert speakers provided an insight into the latest understanding of the importance of the microbiota for digestive health and explored the gut-brain axis.

Optimising maternal and infant health and well being

During this session expert speakers provided the latest research on understanding the link between maternal and infant health and nutrition. Plant-based eating is gaining momentum not only for adult consumers but there is also an increase in demand for formulas which are hydrolysed and plant-based. Leading experts discussed why this is happening in the infant nutrition market and they have also explored the next generation of infant formula.
